New Teams won't open or is giving an error

Go to your start menu

Type Teams

Click on the down arrow that you see below the Teams app on the right-hand side.

Here you will click on the "App settings" next to the gear icon.

This will bring you to the Microsoft Teams settings page

Scroll down until you see Terminate

Next you are going to click on each Terminate, Repair, and Reset separately.

Click on Terminate and wait for the box to become clickable again before you move on.

Click on Repair and wait for the check mark to confirm it was done successfully.

Click on Reset and wait for the check mark to confirm it was done successfully.

Once this is done you can close out of this window and try launching Teams again.
